My name is Magda Lukas. I’ve been working as a professional wedding and portrait photographer in Cork for 12 years.

I believe It’s my gained experience that adds that level of calm & presence to the wedding, which always helps my couples to relax and really enjoy their day. Sometimes direction on the day can be helpful, but this is done with a light touch in order to gain fantastic natural images.

MY STYLE is a mix of different influences: I mix together portraiture, documentary, still life, fashion, travel and lifestyle images to create a stylish, intimate portrait of a wedding day. For me photography is all about life; the moments in your life; the influences in ours. My goal is to make honest, authentic and beautiful photographs. The photographs I create have a relaxed glamour and a natural intimate feel infused with light.

With a love of beautiful things combined with an artistic eye I try to capture the happiness, romance & intimacy in life.

Photography is more than my job. It has changed how I see the world and how I communicate what I see. I have learned to say things with photographs that I don’t know the words for.

I know the power of  love. I believe in dreaming big & making those dreams come true. I value quality over quantity. I believe in sweetness and intimacy.

I LOVE to hear the sound of waves lapping against the shore and the sound of laughter, and I love to chat, especially over decaf coffee and raw cheesecake. I am obsessed with dogs, music, travel, interiors, gorgeous light, sunsets and beauty in all its forms.
